After a long wait, the first teaser for the second Black Panther movie has been released. Tributes to Chadwick Boseman, and breathtaking images were the highlights. Furthermore, it showed the struggle to protect the kingdom of Wakanda after the death of King T’Challa. This will be the focus of the film.

The video was released last Saturday (23) during San Diego Comic-Con 2022, and it moved everyone. With the sound of ‘No Woman no cry’, the teaser showed a little of what’s to come. Chadwick Boseman, who played King T’Challa in the first film, lost his life in 2020 to colon cancer. It is possible to see in a certain part of the trailer a wall with the actor’s face and character stamped on it. In addition, other novelties are presented. The Latin Tenoch Huerta appears as the king of a hidden undersea nation called Namor. He will likely be the main antagonist of this movie.

The characters Shuri and Nakia should receive more prominence in this sequel. The Bob Marley classic packed the video, in a calmer and more emotional version, in the voice of Nigerian singer Tems. At the end of the video we can see that someone is wearing the king’s uniform, but for now it has not been revealed which character. In addition to the trailer, Marvel released the first poster for the film. Check out the trailer here:
