The first trailer for “MaXXXine”, the third film in the horror trilogy started by “X” (2022) and continued by “Pearl” (2022), was released today (8).
Furthermore, the film also got its first poster.
Therefore, in the new film, Mia Goth will be back reprising one of the roles she played in “X”, Maxine.
As the only survivor who continued her journey towards fame, the film will follow the young woman’s plans to become an actress in the 80s, in the city of Los Angeles.
In addition to Goth, “MaXXXine” will feature Elizabeth Debicki (The Crown), Moses Sumney (The Idol), Michelle Monaghan (True Detective), Bobby Cannavale (Boardwalk Empire), Lily Collins (Emily in Paris), Halsey, Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad) and Kevin Bacon (Footloose) in the cast.
The film will be released in theaters July 5, 2024.
