Sony Pictures revealed yesterday (12) the official title of the third film in the Venom franchise. The new film starring Tom Hardy will be called “Venom: The Last Dance”.
With that, in addition to the official title, the studio revealed a new release date for the film. Scheduled for release on November 8th this year, the project will hit theaters two weeks earlier, on October 25th.
“Venom 3” marks Kelly Marcel’s directorial debut. She is also a screenwriter for the film and created the story together with Tom Hardy, who returns in the lead role. The duo also produced the film alongside Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal and Hutch Parker.
It is worth remembering that the second film, “Venom: Let There Be Carnage”, surpassed the US$200 million mark in North America and became one of the highest grossing films post-Pandemic.
