Sydney Sweeney says she’s not bothered by Madame Web’s failure

Sidney Sweeney is preparing to release his third film in just three months and was present at the SXSW event for the premiere of “Immaculate”, the horror film in which he stars. 

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the actress was asked about the failure of “Madame Web” and the jokes made with the film and she didn’t seem too bothered.

“I was hired as an actress, so I was just following whatever was going to happen,” she said.

As a result, Sweeney herself has already made fun of the film in her appearance on Saturday Night Live. “Madame Web” was also the subject of mockery during the Oscar ceremony. Host Jimmy Kimmel, who stated that the night was “full of enormous talent and untold potential, but so was “Madame Web.”

In addition to Sweeney, “Madame Web” features Dakota Johnson, Isabela Merced as Anya Corazon, Celeste O’Connor as Mattie Franklin and Emma Roberts as Mary Parker, Adam Scott (Ruptura) and Tahar Rahim (The Mauritanian) in the cast.

“Madame Web” is showing in cinemas.
