Netflix releases trailer for ‘Blonde’, a new perspective on Marilyn Monroe

Netflix released this week the new trailer for ‘Blonde’, a film that brings the biography of the great artist Marilyn Monroe. The film promises to show the life of the actress, in a way not yet seen. The problems that Norma Jean was going through. The division between person and character. Directed by Andrew Dominik, and Ana de Armas as Marilyn, the film has great public expectations.

In the trailer we can see Ana perfectly characterized as the ‘blonde’, and iconic scenes from her life. Clothes identical to the originals. The film is based on the book by Joyce Carol Oates, with the same title. The story will explore how the Hollywood industry treated the diva, as well as what led to her health and personal issues. From his rise to success until his untimely death. The intention is to show both sides of the artist: a person trapped in the industry who exploited her body, and another of the powerful woman who inspired millions around the world.

The film will feature hit songs from the actress, such as ‘Diamonds are a girl’s best friend’. The story of the muse who became one of pop culture’s biggest icons comes to the platform on September 28.
