After the crisis established in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, rumors pointed out that some characters beloved by the public would make a return to the screen. However, the organization’s president, Kevin Feige, has denied that Robert Downey Jr will return as Iron Man.

Rumors said that Downey’s character and even Black Widow’s could return to the Universe. However, Feige tried to deny the information. In an interview with Variety, he highlighted the importance of maintaining the impact that Robert’s last performance as Iron Man made.

According to him, it took a lot of hard work over many years to get to this moment, and he prefers to keep the magic. It’s worth remembering that Kevin Feige possibly didn’t have much faith in the success of Iron Man at the time of its release more than 15 years ago. The film is the franchise’s first major worldwide success.
