Former US president and White House pre-candidate Donald Trump said on Sunday (24) that he won two golf prizes that were awarded by the club that bears the Republicans own name.
He said it was “a great honor” to receive both recognitions and that the match that earned him the awards was difficult, but that the plays were “exciting”.
Therefore, according to him, the ceremony would take place at the “Trump International Golf Club”, in West Palm Beach, Florida, where the billionaire has the famous Mar-a-Lago resort. The place was once known as the “Winter White House” because of frequent weekend stays while Trump was US president.
Furthermore, Trump’s “victory” with the two awards granted by the golf club, which bears his name, generated a jab from Joe Biden.
The current head of state and opponent shared the billionaire’s post on Truth Social with irony. “Congratulations, Donald. A great achievement”, wrote the Democrat on X, formerly Twitter.
