Actress Anne Hathaway says she lost several roles after winning the Oscar for “Les Miserables.” According to the actress, the reason is the online image that third parties created, damaging her relationships in the industry.
The revelation was made in an interview with Vanity Fair: “Many people didn’t want to give me roles because they were very worried about the toxicity that my identity acquired on the internet”, said the actress.
Who added by praising director Christopher Nolan: “I had an angel named Christopher Nolan, who didn’t care about that and gave me the most beautiful roles I’ve ever had and one of the best films I’ve ever been in,” he said.
Currently, Hathaway is working on the film “The Idea of You”, a film in which she plays a single mother who, accompanying her daughter to the Coachella music festival, begins a romance with Hayes (Nicholas Galitzine), lead singer of the most popular boy band of the moment.
Based on the book by Robinne Lee, “The Idea of You” premieres on Prime Video on May 2.
