The original Netflix series Bridgerton is heading to the second season this month on March 25th. The story is based on a series of books by Julia Quinn. Each one about one Bridgerton sibling and their love life. Lady Whistledown was revealed in the first season and took everyone by surprise. The first season was about Daphne and the Duke of Hastings. This next one will address the story of the oldest brother Anthony. He will look for a wife during The Season (moment when single young ladies are presented to society in search of husbands). He will need to make an effort and court the one he wants.
This Wednesday (2) Netflix released new posters with pictures of the characters and showed the cores of families and houses. The most awaited was Kate and her sister Edwina. This is the new core of the series and promises to cause new dramas. The Duke is not going to participate but will be mentioned and remembered by the family. In the last season Daphne and him got married and the plot ended, starting now Anthony’s search.
This is one of the first projects that Shonda Rhimes developed for Netflix. The queen of drama is well known for other works, like Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal. She is a screenwriter and executive producer of Shondaland’s series. Season 2 premiers at Netflix on March 25th. Who will be the next diamond of the season?
