Singer Usher was responsible for hosting the 2024 Super Bowl. With a special appearance by Alicia Keys, the singer surpassed the record of last year’s performance, Rihanna.
Front Office Sports reported that the 13-minute presentation averaged 129.3 million views. Rihanna’s record in 2023 was 121.018 million.
Usher also had the spotlight turned on him, as he was reportedly getting married on the same day as the performance. He and Jennifer Goicoechea took advantage of the Sunday of the event to perform their wedding right there, in Las Vegas. According to People, the intimate ceremony took place in an open-air chapel with a capacity of 30 people.
