On a night marked by American President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address, former President Donald Trump once again drew public attention for his comments on Biden’s statements.
Using his social network Truth Social, Trump posted during the night of Thursday, the 7th, a series of messages disdaining the speech.
Among other things, the former president said that his opponent was “so angry and crazy”. “This may be the angriest, least compassionate, and worst State of the Union address ever given. It was a shame for our country”, criticized the former president.
As a result, throughout Biden’s speech, Trump criticized several of the president’s statements. The attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021 and the migration crisis were some of the most talked about topics.
“Whether the fake news media likes to admit it or not, there was tremendous distortion and lies in this speech,” Trump said. “But the people of our country understand, and they know that November 5th will be the most important day in the history of our nation!”
