One of the most anticipated sequels in the Disney world already has a premiere date. The story of the most famous witches on screen arrives with new questions for this Halloween. Hocus Pocus 2 will bring back the Sanderson sisters. Halloween won’t be the same! The teaser was released this past Tuesday (28), and already shows that somehow, a new generation has summoned the sisters back. Their arrival just in time for Salem’s Halloween is no accident.
As in the first film, the sisters are summoned to the city. However, this time the feeling of revenge is stronger than ever. Originally from the 17th century, the Sanderson sisters were first evoked 29 years ago, when Max Denninson lit the black flame candle, and ended up resurrecting all three. Winifred, Sarah and Mary Sanderson will be back for new adventures, and this time, three high school students will be responsible for preventing chaos and destruction caused by them, before midnight.
Actresses Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler and Kathy Nagimy will once again play the iconic characters. Among the new faces, we have Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckinghan, Belissa Escobedo, Hannah Waddinghan, Tony Hale and Froy Gutierrez. Anne Fletcher is directing. The premiere will only be on the Disney+ streaming platform, on September 30th of this year. Check out the first trailer:
